Hi! all!
The Sapporo Snow Festival, one of Japan's largest winter events, attracts a growing number of visitors from Japan and abroad every year. Every winter, about two million people come to Sapporo to see the hundreds of beautiful snow statues and ice sculptures which line Odori Park, the grounds at Satoland, and the main street in Susukino.
The Sapporo Snow Festival first started in 1950 in Odori Park with a meager six ice sculptures crafted by local students during one of the area’s long winters. Since then, the event has grown in leaps and bounds, especially with the addition of the Self Defense Force in Makomani in 1955 and another site in Susukino. Today, over two million people worldwide travel to the festival to view these exceptional pieces of art.
There's a sculpting process:
First, a wooden structure is built. Large blocks of snow are then cut from the ground using shovels, buckets, chisels, axes, and saws made of barbed wire. The blocks are stomped into place around the wooden scaffolding and hosed down with water that freezes into hard-as-rock water mortar. Only then does the painstaking job of sculpting the masterpiece begin.
The combined result of all this carving and sculpting, usually lit up at night with coloured lights, is a spun-crystal dreamscape of fairylights and magic. The main boulevard is spangled with hundreds of statues, some as large as houses (come to think of it some are houses) and over the years the festival has showcased frosted versions of the Statue of Liberty, the Great Wall of China, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Pyramids of Egypt.

Hey, here is one another exotic festival in Japan. It is Spring Festival Toshogu Shrine. to tell you the truth, I was interseted in because of it's date. It helds from 17-18th of May every year. Then it meets my birthday. ^_^.
Sennin Gyoretsu, procession of 1,000 persons in historical costume. Sacred music and dances on the morning of the 18th. Also Yabusame, archery on horseback, on May 18.
Here you can see the video.

My favorite work of art is Sitatara or White tara by Mongolian first Gegeen Zanabazar.

(WHITE TARA, TSAGHAAN DARI EH) which was created by Zanabazar (1635-1723) late 17th-early 18th century. The material is Gilt bronze, height:27 1/8 in. (69.9 cm) Diametre:17 5/8 in. (44.8 cm).
The White Tara, "A Gem to Increase Life and Wisdom." Its opening verses may well have been the inspiration for Zanabazar's image of White Tara, the goddess who, above all others, filled the hearts of Tibetan and Mongolian Buddhists with her compassion and with the hope of long life:
The Mongolian Bogdo Gegen, Zanabazar, received his own devotion to Tara through two transmissions of Atisha's teachings, the first (as outlined above) via the Gelugpa adoption of Kadampa precepts, the second inherently, by way of his immediate preincarnation, Taranatha (1575-1634). Taranatha belonged to the Jonangpa, an offshoot of the Sakyapa (whose lamas also wholeheartedly shared Atisha's reverence for Tara) and was one of the greatest of Tibet's religious historians. His Origin of the Tara Tantra, written in 1604, deals with the source of the tantra and its promulgation, and it is he who is credited with the diffusion and promotion of the cult of Green Tara, and with fashioning its mature form. There are a few scattered records that document Zanabazar's relationship to Tara; certainly images he made of her in her many forms dominate his extant works. In 1649, when he went as a fifteen-year-old boy to Tibet to receive consecrations from the Panchen and Dalai lamas, he was also recognized as Taranatha's rebirth. Before returning to Mongolia, he traveled to monasteries where he had spent his earlier lives, collecting, among other things, the goddess's texts and images. Legend also has it that Zanabazar had a beautiful consort, the Girl Prince, who was as deft a sculptor as he. She died at the age of eighteen and her ashes were used for printing scriptures. Zanabazar is said to have modeled his Taras on her, the White Tara shows her as a young virgin, the large Green Tara in her last year, as a physically mature, voluptuous woman.
Zanabazar's White Tara was originally kept at the monastery at Erdeni-zuu, and in scale, style, and detail she approximates his extraordinary group of the Five Meditation Buddhas. His Tara is a pubescent girl, exquisite in form and with an expression of focused, serious compassion. She appears just as the First Dalai Lama, Gedendrup, describes her in his poem, where she is revealed as the "Spiritual Mother" of the Buddhas, as the "Refuge of the World," and as she "whose head is adorned with Amitayus, Buddha of Boundless Life."
White Tara sits on a moon-disc placed on top of a single lotus pedestal, erect and alert, and without any of the activating dÈhanchement usually seen in images of her. Nonetheless, her posture and even her flesh appear remarkably natural; Zanabazar's abstractions take the subtler form of perfectly exquisite surface and proportion. Tara lowers her right hand in a gesture of "Supreme Giving," and holds a white lotus in her left. Her hands and feet are inset with eyes; she also has a third eye in her forehead, but even these extraordinary attributes seem natural. Her "sapphire tresses" are half-knotted and half-free, and she wears a five-pointed crown that transforms itself into a kirtimukha (a protective, terrifying halo-face) at the front. Elaborate earrings and fluttering, flattened scarves surround her elongated ears, and her body is adorned with the spare, elegant jewelry of a bodhisattva, typical of Zanabazar's Nepalese-inspired sensibility.
The First Dalai Lama's poem (as well as his invocation to the goddess) specifically appeals to her for long life, but it also prays for protection from danger, and access to enlightenment, hopes that are inextricably intertwined. This vision of Tara as the source of long life is based on Vagishvarakirti's revelations, which saw Tara as a sixteen-year-old girl, in every way the antithesis of death, and his dream of the goddess is perfectly captured by Zanabazar's calm, yet energized image. In the most basic sense, Buddhists in Tibet and Mongolia saw the offerings, praises, and prayers they offered to Tara as an "initiation into life," and as a way of extending and prolonging the unique opportunity for enlightenment that only human life presented.

Hello everyone, I was so busy for these days. I am struggling with my schoolworks, life problems and my strong wills. :-) + :-( = 0
Well, to tell the truth, I am building a dedicate server here in Mongolia. Once i get this, i will have so many sources of any kinds. Just tell me what you need for your interests. What do you do in your summer holidays? please tell me your plans unless your plans are secret.

hey, I hereby mention that the security for Uniface is not that much reliable one. It was too easy to.... Yes, there were so many bugs in their sources of scripts which i can use. Let it be our secret!!! But i just didn't want to use it in an unauthorized way.

For Lichi, I have every type of Windows Vista such as Ultimate, Home, Business...If you want i can burnt it for you!!! But one thing to tell you is that Windows Vista includes many bugs in ita system administration as far as i know. Telnet is ready to attack in its unencrypted ports. Unfortunately, It is true. Vista does have a good look when we try it at first. But too many medias make our PC stagnant. Actually, i doesn't have a full operations for 64-bit ISO models. Just they....................making lots of advertisements............................

To tell the truth. Don't try to use it. Try using Pro softwares such as windows XP SP2, Linux, Mac/OSI... Linux redhat is very good to stay secure. try using Linux operating systems.

As everyone agrees, new softwares always have bugs in their system configuration.

Indeed, i should have written about anothing thing. But i just wanted to write about what i am thinking at this moment.

Byess, uga chavis, te emondes bounary Just guessed in Spanish or something else.

Respectfully and Humbly,
Boldbaatar

"today is a ****ing good day, what are you doing?"
-"D**n you! I am sleeping!!!"I was little mad cause that call intercepted my sleep on Sunday morning!
-"oh,sorry!but I am kinda walking outside, such a sunnny day!do u want to come with me?"
-"mmm~ ok,but how about 2 hours later? "I wasn't ready for the moment,I was talking about going out when I am still in blankets! but i would like to go outside in a Sunny day
-"ok!see u in front of их дэлгүүрь,2 o'clock"
anyway,I couldn't sleep any more,I got up and get everything ready,it was already 1:30~~it was really nice day,not hot but so warm,I took my camero with me and taking pics all my way to department store~~
We had milkshakes in Irish club where we used to go,now cause we have Oasis club, the new Orange club which is held by our friend,so no one goes to Irish any more.by the way staying in Irish,we were waiting for a Japanese girl... then we all go to Zaisang in the afternoon,so many people over there~ it's a generally nice day for everyone!!!
We spent all the afternoon and had dinner together,of course I had been listening Japanese all the afternoon~ proudly I did understand some cause Chinese is some partly similar to japanese
one thing add+ that's strange some guys asked us that why you guys gathered together?a Chinese and 2 Japanese??that's most stupit question in the world,it's like why Germany is bordered with France,Poland and Czech~~ that's `~ ~~ it's fine for us to be together,no problems at all, even sometimes we joke to each other that "if you army went a little bit further to Inner Mongolia or our army destroyed more Japanese, maybe we will never see each other~!" haha, that was just teasing~~great joke to history, but no one cares or to be soooo seriously asking such a stupit question~~ we just laughed and say "ok!here,Lichi is lichi,Yotaro is Yotaro,no nationality!~~~
I just came back from dinner, finished my weekend!very nice sunday!even I didn't go with my classmates to somewhere I can't remember its name, for whole weekend.
